At CrimeCon Denver, Chris Hansen sat down with Schlep, a Roblox YouTuber and Safety Advocate, along with his Attorney and a detective from Marion County, Florida police department.
During this event, he discusses the work of Schlep and the mistreatment he faced from Roblox, as well as other cases of minors being exploited and manipulated by developers and creators who abuse power dynamics to their advantage.

but I did meet with Roblox uh over a Zoom call. I met with quite a bit of their outreach people and we spoke about certain things that could change, things to take away from this particular case. Um, I think until we can say that this is not happening anymore, enough is not being done.
Furthermore, it was highlighted that Roblox is intentionally created to be addictive by incorporating a virtual currency known as Robux. This feature allows users to enjoy creative freedom and personalize their avatars according to their preferences.
Steven points out that some transactions involve predators paying for child sexual content, which results in Roblox profiting as the platform takes a 30% commission helping their bottom line, from all sales on it.
They bring up the point how some games on the Roblox platform include sexualized content which can be accessed by anyone (including Children / minors).
Chris speaks Schlep who was able to get 6 predators on Roblox prosecuted by law enforcement. This individual also discusses Roblox’s lack of response when they reported these predators on the platform until they release videos getting thousands and some cases millions of views.
