He urged parents to remove their children from the online gaming platform Roblox, stating that the state of Kentucky plans to file a civil lawsuit against Roblox Corporation. The lawsuit claims that the popular gaming platform poses safety risks for children, aligning with other parties who have taken legal action against Roblox for similar concerns.
Public spaces online can put children at risk from predators, violent content, explicit material, and disturbing simulations like the “assassination” games featuring Charlie Kirk. When contacted by Fox Business, Roblox stated that it had already taken action by removing over 100 games that depicted Kirk being shot.
